Web Builder and CMS
for Software Teams

Perfect for teams used to static site generators and focused on effective content marketing.

As a (solo) founder of many software products, I’ve built my fair share of marketing sites. Some were simple one-pagers, others included hundreds of articles and documentation.

Over the last decade, I’ve tried countless tools. From home-grown solutions to WordPress to various Ruby or JS-based Static Site Generators (SSGs).

WordPress offers a ton of themes, plugins, and functionalities through its vast community (free or paid). SSGs, depending on which you choose, can do the same. WordPress is great for churning out content to build your SEO, but it sucks for creating anything fancy or creative. SSGs give you near-unlimited creativity but are a pain for non-developers (aside from what some CMS like Spinal offer). WordPress sites can be slow to load due to their architecture. SSGs are lightning-fast.

Then there are web builders (think Webflow or Squarespace) that try to tackle some of these issues, but they’re not built for small software companies serious about SEO (still the leading marketing channel!).

As my teams grew—and I wasn’t the only one responsible for the marketing site anymore—I needed something as flexible and fast-loading as an SSG, but as easy-to-use as WordPress for non-developers.

I also needed something built with SaaS/Software teams in mind. Not another tool for eCommerce stores or generic sales. And hey, any help with SEO would be a bonus.

There are many great web builders out there, but none checks all these boxes. None!

That’s why I’m launching Spinal Builder.

In short:

Spinal Builder is currently in alpha, used only internally at my companies. Want to know when you can use it for your company? Leave your email below, and I’ll personally invite you.
